"It’s easy to get caught up in someone else’s opinion of you."

People love to have opinions. About my gear, my pace, my choice to hike alone. Even if they mean well, it’s easy to let their voices get louder than my own. But at the end of the day, no one else is walking these miles for me. I am.

So I have to ask myself—am I making choices based on what I want? Or what other people think I should do?
